2 Accident Investigation procedures, interviewing, evaluation, case study

"The Reporting of Injuries Diseases and dangerous Occurrences places a statutory duty on employers to report these in a prescribed and formal method. This course has been designed to provide a wide range of case study examples for clear guidance on the Regs.."
It is essential that accidents are properly investigated and indeed current proposals may impose statutory requirements, but which accidents should be investigated and how is it done ? These issues and many more are all covered on this course including the procedures & how the interviewing of witnesses are undertaken and any legal requirements etc..

It is important to follow a detailed and thorough procedure when investigating accidents so that lessons can be learnt and the true cause is identified rather than the perceived cause. A repeat of the same accident will result in far more serious consequences in criminal prosecutions and indeed civil claims. This is a well structured and prepared course.
