Included in the course are the associated ergonomics, health risks, radiation, work station design, screen problems, eye test provisions, focal distance requirements etc records, RSI implications, time limits on equipment, guidance on user training.
This course is aimed at those responsible for persons working on computers and similar equipment and deals with the requirements of the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 and the responsibilities relating to those regulations and also includes the procedure for compliance including the formal assessment requirements of each work station for each person.
This is a excellent course structured to enable practical assessments to be included as part of the course normally working in groups and also includes compliance procedures associated with the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations as they apply for Risk Assessment and guidance on hardware, software and operational solutions.
There is a course practical assessment included for competence evaluation.
This course can be allocated TWO IOSH CPD points if you are registered with IOSH.
