FirstAid.. (Appointed person Course)
HalfDay Course...(morning)
This course complies with the requirements of The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations, 1997 Approved Code of practice for the First Aid appointed person.

The Law and the ACOP

"The appointment of First Aider's and/or Appointed Persons is a legal requirement for employers involving all industries and companies. The new Code of Practice provides for the suggested numbers for Appointed Persons but this may be increased depending on the circumstances such as remoteness from medical services or to provide for emergency cover etc. Shops and offices for example up to 49 employees should have at least one Appointed Person and other organisations in higher risk groups are also listed to have at least one Appointed Person such as in Light Engineering and Assembly Work, Food Processing & Warehousing etc up to 19 employees. However, the number of Appointed Persons may be increased with much higher levels of employees.."
