The course is aimed at all those involved in Food handling whether in shops, manufacture or wholesale or as catering distributers etc. anyone involved in handling food in any form should hold this qualification to ensure that they are fully aware of all the essential precautions for operatives involved in this kind of work.

The courses are normally operated in small groups to provide more personal assistance and guidance and it is structured in a practical and helpful way following the national syllabus set by the C.I.E.H.

The course is supported by videos and on completion a multi choice examination paper is taken and marks are often available the same day. A formal certificate is posted on later.
